Our party of 8 had dinner here on a Saturday after a long day on the ATV trails. Jack's is located just a few miles from the Dorr Run parking area and welcomes trail riders with plenty of parking for trailers. Most of our group had burgers, I had the Philly Steak and loved it! Jack's fries are perfect. Everyone was happy with their meal and pleased with the reasonable price. Service was friendly and attentive. I cant speak for those who gave a low rating but we had an awesome experience eating here. They offer a full bar too if that's how you roll. We will be back next time we ride Wayne National Forest.
Jack's steakhouse was perfect for what we wanted. Jack's has a low key, old school, down home, friendly vibe which is perfect. My gf and i loved it. Bobbie our waitress was awesome. She was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the large Pretzel with Spicy Queso and it was a great app. The cheese tasted amazing. I ordered the 16 oz Ribeye (I was starving) and my gf ordered the 8 oz sirloin. Both were seasoned with thier house seasoning , hot off the grill and grill perfectly. They tasted AMAZING!!! You definitely want to stop by and give Jack's a try. You will not be disappointed. Yummmm!
We were staying at a cabin near by and looking for some place for dinner. Found this place online and it looked good. Husband and I got burgers that had bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce on them with pepper jack cheese ,( i forget the name of it) and MAN... they were soooo good. Haven't had a good restaurant/bar burger that good in a long time. If we are ever in town again I Will definitely be returning. Waitress was super nice and attentive, too.
We had a great breakfast this morning with our group of 6. We were in and out within an hour. The selection for breakfast was good, very cheap pricing, portions were huge, and it all tasted great. Not busy at all this morning at 11am which is why we went there. Would definitely visit again!
Jack's has never disappointed us! We have been here many times for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Every September, on our vacation, we take advantage of their Monday or Tuesday night Steak Special BOGO 1/2 off! I ordered the 12oz Ribeye, loaded baked potato and onion rings. My husband ordered the 16oz Ribeye, french fries and onion rings. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. One Medium the other medium rare. My loaded potato was served piping hot and was delicious. Our server was fantastic as she was waiting on a large table inside and several tables outside as well. She kept our drinks filled and our wait for our meal was as expected. The only issue we had were with the onions rings. As we have ate at Jacks multiple times and always order the onion rings we were surprised when we served frozen, diced and minced onion rings this time. When we brought it to our waitresses attention she apologized and explained that they had run out and that they were not there to stay. She also offered me another side and apologized that she had forgot to share that with us when we ordered. Our meal was filling, but my husband had already spotted a slice of cheesecake in the dessert showcase and brought to my attention a decadent looking piece of chocolate cake. The cheesecake was raspberry swirl and the chocolate cake was possibly the best piece of cake I have ever had.
Such a cute old time place, service was great and the food was amazing! They even have motorcycle only parking which was great for us since we came in on the bike, needed a place to eat while we were out riding and looked to see what was around and decided to check it out. Was a great choice, so happy we decided to stop there! Will definitely go back if we're in the area again!
Nice little quiet place with great service, delicious food, and good vibes. Everything my boyfriend and I have gotten there we have really enjoyed!
This was an amazing experience! Well worth the time and money. Definitely would go again.
